I suggest that you re-think this one. I can quote some equations at you if
you wish.

So if the equations say it is impossible , either they are wrong or there 
is another phenomena , because I got demonstration in a electrical 
security course by EDF (electricité de france)  , that during short 
circuit condition coper wires ( 1.5mm diameter) move apart several 
centimeters away , sometimes they were even bent .
