Bob, the glue for the silicone rubber chimney extensions isn't very critical
-- I've used ordinary household rubber cement for this, and it works
perfectly on all sorts of external anode tubes.  This is not a very hot spot
(or it had better not be!), as the exhaust air from an 8877 shouldn't be
hotter than you can comfortably hold your hand over.  -WB2WIK/6
