  Very good points Dr. Kirkby. I would like to offer an additional one
though. If you split off part of the mailing list for just that topic,
then understandably there will be many LESS subscribers (and thus
readers) of it. This leads to the saying:

"...pontificating to the knowledgeable few is no where near as
ego-gratifying as to the ignorant many."

I thought you might get a chuckle out of that.  ha ha
