[Amps] SB-200 Question

Have not tried with a solidstate rig so jump in if you think this should not
be attempted.

I left my SB200 keyed during contacts. Signal for the receiver was taken
from the tank using an ~2pf capacitor. This was with an older tube type RX.
Don't know if it would work with your K2, but it sure made for fast QSK.
Receiver was muted (RF/IF biased off) with keying. Perhaps a small fast
reed relay would work. One pole switches RX antenna line from pickup
to ground and other pole keys the rig. If K2 doesn't have an 'aux' antenna
input then the reed could switch from pickup to amp input with the other
pole used to key the rig.
