[Amps] AL1200 problem

I have a couple of interesting problems with my AL1200 but first this.  I
took the cover off and looked around real close.  no obvious signs of
trouble but there is one interesting thing I noticed.

coming out of the input matching network cover there is a green wire.  there
is a ground lug right there with a stub of wire on it.  should the green
wire be attached to the lug?  sure looks like it but want to be sure before
going on.
