I had the same problem on a yearly basis on my lk-500. The fuse will go on 
start up. Remove the tubes from the amp and turn on the amp. If the fuses don't 
blow then you might have a bad tube, in the other hand if you still get the 
same problem then it might be the filter caps. This was my problem! One or all 
the filter caps might be bad. If so replace all of them. Then get your self an 
inrush current protector from MFJ.
This was my problem there are other components on that filter board that also 
might go bad but this was my only problem! I had no inrush current 
protection. Good luck!
