[Amps] SB-220 Filament Transformer ME TOO

Thanks for your reply.  I don't understand why, if it's an exact
replacement, you must mount it on the rear?  One disadvantage of the heavier
duty filament transformer might be that it doesn't limit filament inrush
current the way the original transformer did?  Does that Dahl transformer
supply just under 5 volts the way the original one did -- that greatly
prolongs tube life?
