=F0  The efficiency is c. 62%, so it would take c. 4800w in to see 3k=20
out. The emission limit is c. 800mA avg.   Thus, one would need an=20
anode supply of 6000v to see 4800w in.  According to builders, the=20
3-1000Z gets pretty squirrelly above 4500v.   0.2pF of feedback C is=20
double that of an 8877, so maybe that accounts for the arboreal=20
rodents.
