--  Plastic peanuts in half-full, taped-shut  plastic grocery bags work 
fairly well.  [the bags keep the peanuts from shifting around the 
amplifier during transient].  .

**   ...  ... ... and tubes that don't have a bayonent-mount need to be 
shipped separately.
