Not so hard, simply pick off a small bit of signal and put it into a 
balanced mixer with associated crystal oscillator (14.318MHz easily found) 
and lowpass output and put into your sound card. Use FFT program and you 
have a cheap spectrum analyzer with high  resolution. Do not use your 
receiver unless  you are sure you can eliminate RF pickup from within the 
shack. RF passing thru rectifying diodes to the power line will produce 120 
and 60 Hz amplitude modulation on the signal.
