[Amps] Switch-mode HV power supply

There are some high voltage RF fets on the market now that have low
input capacitance and high gain at 30 Mc that are reasonably priced.
This allows for an amp with no transformer in the supply to run from
120V mains  and a simple rectifier and cap for the supply. The problem
with solid state devices is designing the protection cct. to save the
fets from mistakes.
