[Amps] Best way to drop fil V on L7

Hello,

Can anyone provide firsthand input on dropping the filament voltage
on a L7 amp? I've heard of some rewinding the filament choke w/smaller
wire, but haven't verified with anyone that's a good solution.

Any others? On my SB200, I made a "resistor" out of teflon insulated
wire, that seems to work ok.

Other ideas?
