The difference is that people who prefer the sound of tubes over FETs 
enjoy hearing more non-linearity, would rather be driving a '57 Bel Air 
than a BMW M3, and they have Way more money than brains.

  A Cadillac salesman once said that some buyers insist on paying 
full-tilt sticker price just to prove to the world that they have made 
it.
