No, I didn't mean the Palstar was 4 inches high, the Sierra one is about that and a rack cabinet type. The Palstar has a higher cabinet as you say. The two resistors are about 2" O.D., and about 12" long. Those resistors could actually fit in the Sierra cabinet, but fan cooling two that size would be tough. There was some military meter/loads that used a bank of smaller ones together, say about 6 to 8 resistors in paralell. I doubt the 5kW rating on the Sierra is for very long at all.
