[Amps] plate choke

That's happened several times, even comments on here about it. The last one was a good while back about a Henry, and the guy posted some pics of the choke. If I remember, myself and maybe Rich Measures did a post to the guy about adding or taking away a few turns. Look back in the archives and you should find it. Also, you might do a search on the net about that as I've seen it before, same model amp. Not all Henrys' did that, just that one model and I cant remember which one it was. Seems to me though it used glass tubes but whether they're 3-500Z's or not I cant remember. I know the one amp with the pics showed the parasitic suppressors with long hair-pin type coils instead of wrapped around the resistors. However this wasn't done by Henry, but by an owner. The plate choke on this amp and the others I'd seen, the top few turns burnt and the cure was to remove a few turns if I recall. I dont think I ever remember the whole choke burning on this one or the others. Why it only burnt the top few turns, I dont know.
