[Amps] Alpha 78 on 17 Meters - SUCCESS!

My thanks to Mike W4EF and the others who responded to my inquiry about 
using an Alpha 78 on 17 meters.

Mike was right on when he said that the tuning is very sharp.

When I took my time and tuned and loaded with care, I found that I could 
indeed coax the Alpha 78 to produce 1200 watts out on 17 meters with about 
50 ma of grid current.

Once again the AMPS list proves an invaluable asset.
