Well silver solder will do it as its a braze and not a solder. It takes  
more heat to melt it. But, the real cure is putting enough air on the  
heater pins to keep them cool. I think Rich Measures had some silver  
solder on his website. Another place to get some is Brownells who makes  
gunsmithing supplies.
