[Amps] Magnet wire stripper

 Mark,

We used those when I was in Vo-Tech back in the early 80's to strip magnet
wire leads on transformers and motors. The other day, the closest thing I
could say they looked like was a huge pair of toe nail clippers  without the
lever. Once you get used to them, it dont take no time and the varnish is
scraped off. If the lead was long enough, you could use a knife and lay the
wire down on a block of wood or something. Just use the knife to scrape the
enamel off the same way. Where it will be a soldered connection most of the
time, a little copper loss dont hurt a bit. Copper loss, meaning a very
small amount, if any, with the enamel once you get used to using them.

Hey Will ... like that one.  I work a lot with enameled wire .. I am going
