[Amps] Dentron MLA-2500

I just acquired an excellent MLA-2500.  While I will probably run it on the 
HF bands for a while, I am interested in pulling the entire RF deck and 
replacing it with something that will give me a kW or so on 2 meters.

I need some practical suggestions for such a 2 meter RF deck that will fit 
the available space.  Has anyone on the reflector done such a conversion - 
or can you direct me to someone who has?
