Sorry I didn't add that detail in earlier post - the Dec 59 feature uses a
pair of "GL-813's".

The brethren/sistren who remember them fresh is dwindling.
I was first licensed in '62 - remember seeing a few, but didn't save any.
This collection is courtesy of an older local ham now in a nursing home.

The December 1959 GE Ham News ground grid amp issue is one 
 I would like to read.  What tube is used?

I have enjoyed the 2 or 3 RCA Ham tips I have had In the past.  I came too
late to get them fresh
