Subject: [Amps] 4-1000 coil inductance

Does anyone mind giving a tip on the best coil
inductance to shoot for for the 4-1000. The amp deck I
revived has a 3.5 inch dia., 5 inch long, 12ga wire
coil. I want to wind another one using 1\8 copper
tubing. A lot hard work paid off and thanks to all the
guys here who helped by answering all my questions.
The 4-1000 is alive and kicking.

In order to answer this, Mike, we need your band(s) of interest, the anode
voltage under load, and the anode current. Also, are you planning a Pi or a
Pi-L tank?
