But not sharp enough to cause premature ejaculation of electrons.  The 
breakdown potential of the bandswitches used in SB-220s and TL-922s 
tests at c. 5000v.  The actual peak potential encountered in the 220 
and 922 is c. 2800v-pk max.  Even when they are deliberately mistuned, 
the peak potential maxes out at c. 3600v.  Thus, when a bandswitch arcs 
in a SB-220 or a TL-922, either something other than HF energy is 
present, or a dreaded silver-spitting Bolovian blue cockroach has been 
in the vicinity.
