FYI.....It is always good practice if you have power (white neutral and  
black hot) in a ceiling box and you are switching down to a switch, you should  
connect the white wire of the switch leg going down to the black hot wire in the 
 ceiling box then switch back up on the black so you always know what is 
neutral  and hot at the lighting fixture when it comes time to connect it.   Yes
