CAUTION.
If you switch a capacitor in and out to segment the rf choke, under some
circumstances the capacitar could maintain a high voltage charge on it. If
the capacitor is charged then the relay opened, the capacitor will maintain
the charge, even after the voltage is removed from the amp. Although the
capacity may not be great enough to be lethal, it would give an serious
tickle.
Answer is to insert a high value bleeder across the switched bypass cap.
Alpha does this in their switched bypass cap.
