[Amps] Building new amp

[FoxRun]

I would like to build new single band amps for 10, 15, 20, 40, 80 and 160.
Output 1.5kw with brick on the key performance (for contesting).

Thinking about using the new design in the 2006 ARRL handbook with the
3cx1500 tube.

Q1. Are there any other designs I should entertain using?

Q2. Is it worth getting the ARRL amplifier book?

Any other comments appreciated.
