[Amps] Alpha releases New Amp 9500

It would appear to me, that at this time it may be the perfect choice. if  
you have an older computer your all set, if you running a newer computer just  
slip a usb to serial converter and then you either or both...

I  emailed Alpha about 6  months ago about the 87A and suggested that the  
serial port is  essentially obsolete and should be replaced with a more  
up-to-date  port.  The reply was "Thank you for your input.  We  are  
discontinuing the 87A line."

A bit disappointing that the   serial port is still in the newer   design.
