Thanks to all who responded to my question about the resistor in the
parasitic suppressors for this amp. I was able to look into one of the amps
and found 2ea 47 ohm 1 watt resistors in parallel inside each of the
parasitic chokes. Close inspection of the soldering leads me to believe they
are the original factory jobs and not replacements. I was not at liberty to
unsolder them to check their value but they appear to not have been
overheated and the amp is stable. The tubes are rather old and max output is
about 1200-1300 watts.
  I don't believe there is room inside the chokes for two 2watt resistors in
parallel. I think the 2 parallel 1 watt resistors might run cooler than a
single 2 watt job in this spot.
