[Amps] Passive Grid Resistor Source?

Lee,

I use carborundum resistors (now made by Kanthal Globar) in my designs.
They are available in various wattages. Here in the US they show up
regularly at ham fests. The under chassis air flow from the blower helps in
cooling.

I have also seen designs where 2W carbon resistors were immersed in a sealed
oil bath to increase dissipation.

Subject: [Amps] Passive Grid Resistor Source?

I am thinking of a passive grid driven configuration for a GU74B/Tetrode
Board amp. I could parallel a bunch of 2W carbon resistors to make up 50
ohms at 100 watts, but the physical size worries me. Has anyone got an "off
the shelf" solution and source of supply or suggestions?
