Bob, 

The original MLA-2500 predated the FCC restriction.  The MLA-2500B 
came after the change in the rules - it deleted the high/low voltage 
switch on the transformer added a stop to the bandswitch and added 
a bandstop/lowpass filter in the input. 

The 10 meter conversion for the MLA-2500B involved removing the stop 
to the bandswitch and wiring around the input filter.
