[Amps] Here's something you don't see every day

I am going to venture a guess.
The builder of this amp has no clue about plate tank circuit calculations for voltage and current nor Q.
But has discovered through experimentation that for at least short periods of time with ample cooling and increased transformer voltage and current with added tubes that increased output can be obtained with diminishing success.
It is laughable but really a tribute to earlier pioneers and pioneer spirit which built our hobby years ago, who paved the way for those of us now who have studied and learned these lessons.
Interesting spark gap contraption don't you think?
