Bill,
I agree. Why are we talking about sweep tubes at all? They are basically no 
longer manfactured and were never intended for the purposes to which some 
Ham manfacturers and illegal CB amp makers put them. At least the Ham uses 
fell into disrepute years ago. They were not good then and are worse now 
with the bands as crowded as they are.This is a dead dog.
