[Amps] Procedure for firing up NOS 4CX1000A in a 30S-1?

All,

A friend is selling a nice 30S-1 with a NOS tube soon; he's wondering what
the procedure is for firing up this tube that's never had RF applied to it.
Could someone pass on a prudent method for turning up this new tube?
