[Amps] plexiglas isolation in coils

Lexan (polycarbonate) might be a better alternative.

My HiQ 5-89 centerloaded vertical has the loading coil inside a lexan tube. 
On 80 meters with 1 kW+ on the antenna the voltages over the coil will be 
over 20 kV.
