[Amps] Sunair GSL-1900A amp

Hi All,
I saw a review of the GSL-1900A amplifier on eham, 
and I have that
amp in my shack, plus full manual. Because I want 
to use a different
transceiver as the exciter, I'm trying to configure the 
J5 socket to
enable the amp to operate normally. If you have any 
advice as to how
to accomplish this, I would be grateful for any 
guidance you can
