Yes, a person could try Office Depot, or Kinkos. I've not looked for the mylar film there, but they may have it. I do know that Office Depot carries some drafting Vellum and drafting tools. It's not that hard to do once you get a hang of it and get someone to show you the ropes at first. There was a company that had some free software to design faceplates, but they wanted to be the one make them, and their prices was very high. If I knew where all the components went, I could lay out the face plate in CAD for him within 1/2 day. All it takes is the measurements for their centers and the hole sizes.
