[Amps] Cross reference ECG

Gene,

Thanks for the help. Another ham found a copy he's going to send me so I'll be able to see the full specs. What it is, I have a Heath scope here with a horizontal sweep transistor bad. GE made the transistor, but nobody like ECG or NTE crosses it. It had either an internal diode or resistor across the collector to emitter junction which was an oddity. I repaired one of these years back when I had a copy of that book. I sold a bunch of stuff a few years back, and that book went with it I think as I can't find it now. GE quit the replacement business in the later 80's I think it was, and thus no more cross books. On the repair last time, I looked the transistor up, figured one out that would replace it, and added the resistor/diode outside it. I have a few notes here in a manual on the scope, but never wrote down what I replaced the thing with. I guess where it was an oddball transistor, ECG and others never bothered crossing it, or buying them from GE and rebranding them.

To all who helped, thanks!

Will
