This is probably obvious to everyone, but just in case, keep in mind 
that all controls, switches, connectors, pilot lamps, etc. that are 
externally accessible on an amplifier or power supply built in a wooden 
box must be effectively grounded to a common ground bus connected to the 
AC line safety ground.  That way, any insulation failures (etc.) will 
result in blown fuses rather than death.
