[Amps] Trichloroethene

Carbontetrachloride was banned here in the UK about 20 years ago. 
Trichloroethane was introduced to replace it as a cleaner/solvent.

For many years Carbontetrachloride was used in small hand-held fire 
extinguishers. If the fire didn't get you the fumes certainly would!

BTW wasn't Trichloroethane actually called Trichloro-trifloro-ethane or was 
that yet another substance?

Also wasn't the demise of Trichloroethane was due in part to it being a CFC.
