This is exactly where the Amateur Radio is heading:
5W transceiver, dipole antenna. In every city on every continent. TCVR is
connected to Internet and everybody has access to it. Number of users is
unlimited. No need in propagation, forget about solar spots...
Everybody hears everybody.
A guy (gal), working from small appartment can be a winner of any contest,
if his (her) computer is powerful enough...
