The 8877 is  still in production and with commercial broadcast use, will 
probably be so for  another 10 years. Maybe availability is worth the differece in 
 price.





TRUE, something to consider, but you can buy GS-35B tubes for less than  
$100.00 each.  If you bought 4 of them I think you would be an SK by the  time you 
killed all of them.  Lou
