[Amps] Vacuum variable testing?

A HiPot tester is the usual way. You do need to make sure the outer is clean and dry first, with no finger grease.
If it's a glass one, then any current limited HV supply will do - they glow a beautiful colour!
Now, does anyone know where I can get a new vacuum put in one? I have a 500pF 15kV 40 amp one that needs a new vacuum....
