Ripple on either amplifier will appear in the output.
It's the PY5ASN syndrome, rest and Bless his soul.
The tetrode screen needs to be highly regulated to stabilize the gain of the
amplifer.

Subject: [Amps] HV stabilisation in a triode amp
Hi,
In a tetrode amp, the screen voltage must be well regulated. A lot of
ripple on the plate voltage does not matter, providing the plate voltage
is well regulated.
On the other hand, how about a triode amp? Is there a limit on the
maximum ripple allowed on the plate voltage?
Since there is no screen to stabilize the average plate current in a
triode, any ripple on the plate voltage should show on the RF output?
