Oh yeah great the ham way to trouble shoot.  The next best way is ship it back to the factory

Good advice!!  I have always found once smoke starts pouring out of the amp, 
it is easy to see what the problem is.  Kinda like the smoke they put in all 
those solid state parts.  73
