[Amps] Testing 3CX800A

Hi All,

I just bought a 3CX800A as a spare for my Alpha 87A.  It was reportedly
bought new several years ago as a spare for an Alpha 76PA and tested once in
that amp and then stored.  I'm a wuss because I don't want to drag my Alpha
87A out of its current location to test the tube.  Is there some basic bench
testing that can be done without putting it into an Amp?
