As far as I know the breakers are not self re-setting, are you sure you are  
not manually re-setting it?  If you are not, I don't think the breaker is  
shutting off.  I am pretty sure you have to press it to make it go back on  if IN 
FACT it has tripped.  Maybe you explained it wrong?   Lou
