[Amps] SK840 socket with 4cx1000A tube

I have an SK840 socket with the 5cx1500A tube.
 
The new 4cx1000A tube I also have fits perfectly in the SK840 socket. 
 
Can I use the SK840 as the base for my 4cx1000A in a new amp I am planning
