[Amps] subject Ten-Tec Centurion fan replacement

I replaced one. The old seemed loud so I ordered a new one from
Tentec. The replacement was quite laborious, and one hole in the new
fan did not match. After replacement, an IC on the QSK board was
fried, and the new fan was not quieter. I replaced an IC and made the
fan thermostatically controlled as in
http://www.hamradiomarket.com/Articles/Ten%20Tec%20Centurion.htm. With
a 300 Ohm resistor, the fan is still heard more than I want. It comes
to full power at exhaust temp of 65 C.
