[Amps] 1 tube or two ??

A pair of 4-1000`s (gg) with 6kv/150 watts drive will do legal limit x 3
easily...Into a dummy load of course!That`s a lot of filament current wasted
when one tube will do 1500 easily thou, individual adjustable bias for each
tube in a two tuber works well for balance if you can`t find a matched
pair...They have a cool glow,the big glass jugs are still plugging away in a
lot of shacks..Sold my pair last year...Kind of miss them...Jim,K7RDX..
