[Amps] Alpha 87A - fault 9

Sounds like a bad PIN diode, but 87A fault codes don't always tell you
exactly what's wrong. For example, it might have something to do with one of
the power supplies. The factory has troubleshooting procedures for some of
the faults that can isolate the cause of the problem. Your friend should
contact the factory and ask them what to do. If it's a bad PIN diode, some
of them are easy to replace, some are a little harder to replace.
