Hi Jeff,
The 1985 edition of the ARRL's "Radio Amateur Handbook" has two pieces that
might be of interest to you: one article describes a 160-only linear with a
4-1000A, & another describes a "retro-fitted" SB-200 that in its new life
covers only 160, 80, & 40.
There is another featuring a pair of 4-400's, but it only goes as low as
80-meters.
